“Thank you all for Your Presence at Events, for sharing Your Words, and for making an ongoing narrative which has moved “The Story Behind The Story” from an Individual experience to a Collective one – which was why Elroy wanted to tell his story and the stories behind it.
Happy Welcome to those who joined “The Story Behind The Story” Community through recent events at the Tilba Festival, the Bungendore Harvest Festival and The Hierophant Bookstore in Canberra.”
The first Canberra “Share Your Reading Experience” happened over corn soup – Elroy’s favorite – on 1st May at Quakers meeting House Turner with much lively discussion:
“I read the book asking myself the question “What resonates with me about this story?”
“I am a linguist and googled Sound System of the Navajo Language and have never seen so many ways with vowels – no wonder you couldn’t learn it.”
“I love the profound hope for life and mankind that Elroy carries.”
We finished with introducing ourselves Navajo way. What an amazing flow has occurred since meeting Elroy and his voice coming out into the world.
